Getting Started

Step 1) Download uPlexa Android Wallet from Google Play Store by searching "uPlexa Android Wallet". Current version is 0.0.3 at the time when this article is written.
Note: Android wallet required permission to your storage to create a wallet file & camera for QR Code scanning for sending funds.


Step 2) You need to set up nodes for the android wallet first before creating a wallet. Hostname: remote.uplexa.com Port: 20161


Step 3) Click "+" icon at the bottom of the apps and select "Create new wallet".


Step 4) Give name to your wallet and put in strong password. If you lose the wallet password, you can only recover your wallet using 25-Word Mnemonic Seed key.
Note: If your phone have biometric scan function, you can set to open your wallet using fingerprint.


Step 5) Once you created your wallet, your wallet public address, Seed and Private-keys will be shown.
IMPORTANT! COPY and SAVE all the details to somewhere SAFE! This details is required to recover your wallet. Losing this wallet details and you will lost your wallet forever.


Step 6) Confirm you have copy all the wallet details, and you will be taken to the wallet page.


Step 7) When you open your wallet for the first time, your android wallet will need to sync to uPlexa blockchain and it'll take few minutes to complete.


Step 8) Once your android wallet is synchronized, you will be able to use your wallet including sending funds.
